BOSTON
A Mitsubishi box truck was removed from under a Storrow Drive overpass just before 7 p.m. yesterday after the top of the vehicle was damaged and the eastbound truck became wedged under the bridge, State Police officials said. Department of Transportation workers removed the truck and inspected the bridge while Department of Conservation and Recreation personnel directed traffic, State Police spokesman Sean Lewis said. The driver, Robert P. O’Connor Jr. of Auburn, and his adult passenger were not injured and no other vehicles were involved. The scene was cleared less than an hour after the incident, and a transportation department investigation is continuing.![]()
