A 44-year-old woman from Needham was struck by a commuter rail train near Needham Center last night, MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said. The woman was conscious when she was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, Pesaturo said. The passengers of the commuter rail train were bused to Needham Heights, he said.
