A Bridgewater State University alumnus was arrested Monday on charges that he threatened to shoot up the school’s radio station when it could not play the song he requested, said David Tillinghast, chief of police at the school. Tillinghast said Alex H. Finnegan, 24, of South Easton called WBIM and said he was going to “shoot the place up.’’ University police arrested Finnegan on one felony count of making a serious threat resulting in public alarm and a misdemeanor count of making a murder threat, said Tillinghast. Finnegan had requested the song “Rufio’’ by an unknown band. He was arraigned yesterday in Brockton District Court and is due back Dec. 14.![]()
