Acquittal in plot to kill younger brother

A Southborough man has been cleared of charges that he masterminded a plot to kill his brother. Treefon Manoloules, 53, was acquitted Tuesday in Barnstable Superior Court of murder and other charges in connection with the death of Aris Manoloules. The Framingham man was found shot to death in his summer home in Hyannis in 2009. Prosecutors alleged that Treefon Manoloules had his younger brother killed over money. The victim’s teenage nephew and brother-in-law are also facing murder charges. (AP)
