BOSTON—Police say a college student from Texas has been sent to the hospital with critical injuries after falling into the Charles River in Boston.
State troopers responded to a site along the river near the Boston University Sailing Pavilion just after 1 a.m. Sunday to reports of someone in the river.
The 18-year-old woman with friends at the time and was pulled from the water by one of those friends. She was taken to a city hospital with critical injuries.
Police did not release the woman's name or say where she went to school, but did say she is from Houston.![]()
