Door knocking at dusk in South Boston, Suzanne Lee felt it for herself: The Achilles heel that has tripped up past City Council candidates who live outside this famously parochial neighborhood. On Farragut Road, a man who votes in most elections answered his door and immediately recognized Lee as a City Council candidate. There are things about her he liked, he said, and things about the incumbent he does not.
