Police take 3 men in for questioning
A cousin of the victim waited to ask a question as police and a detective conferred at the scene of the killing on Brook Avenue in Roxbury. Police detained three persons of interest for questioning after a short chase.

Officers responded to 89 Brook Ave. just after 8 p.m. with a report of a person shot in the head. They found a male victim and pronounced him dead at the scene, said Rafael Ruiz, Boston police superintendant. Several vehicles carrying relatives and friends of the victim pulled up to the scene shortly after the shooting. Pouring out of the vehicles before they had even stopped, men and women could be heard screaming, “They killed him!’’ and “My brother, my brother!’’ Three “persons of interest’’ were in custody.
