Fall River councilor, 3 others indicted in Internet gambling
A longtime Fall River city councilor was indicted today on charges of running illegal gambling parlors at two of his Internet cafes in his home city and in Fairhaven, authorities said. A special statewide grand jury indicted Councilor Leo O. Pelletier, 66, and three co-defendants, according to a statement issued by the office of Attorney General Martha Coakley.
