Brown criticizes consulate protest

Senator says he stands with Israel in antiterror fight

Senator Scott Brown yesterday denounced a sit-in protest at the Israeli consulate in Boston that took place Friday evening. In a video posted to YouTube, around 20 protesters sit inside the lobby of the Israeli consulate in Boston shouting chants including: “Hey hey, ho ho, Israeli apartheid’s got to go.’’ “This group of protestors has a poisonous message which needs to be loudly refuted. Israel is a friend and ally to the United States,’’ Brown said in a statement.
