For the past few weeks, local poets have been showing up at the Occupy Boston site in Dewey Square to lend their voices - and verses - to the protest movement. Poetry readings and protest sites like Boston’s have a long history together, and the organizers of OccuPoetry aimed to tap into its antiestablishment spirit using an artform they felt was being overlooked or neglected.
