SEABROOK, N.H.—The Seabrook Station nuclear power plant and the states of New Hampshire and Massachusetts will be conducting a test of 121 public alert sirens within a 10-mile area around the plant.
The demonstration scheduled for Wednesday is intended to increase public awareness of what the sirens sound like and what to do in a real emergency. The sirens will be sounded at 12:30 p.m. with a steady tone for three to five minutes.
No public action is needed.![]()
