Police have charged a Liberty Mutual claims adjuster, Celina Garcia, with auto insurance fraud, larceny over $250, and filing a false police report in connection with events that began in May. Police allege that Garcia filed a stolen car report just days after bringing the vehicle to a Derry, N.H., repair shop owned by Michael Leblanc. At that time, Leblanc told officers, Garcia chose to give up her car rather than pay the cost of repairs, leaving it behind and promising to return with the title. By the time Leblanc was able to reach her again in July, she had reported it stolen and had collected more than $7,000 from Liberty Mutual, police allege.
