WORCESTER, Mass.—A Milford man authorities say had tens of thousands of computer images of child pornography has pleaded guilty to charges that he persuaded an Arizona man to sexually abuse and photograph a 5-year-old boy.
Robert Diduca, a former manager of a Boston hotel, pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court in Worcester to charges including sexual exploitation of a child, distributing child pornography and possessing child pornography. Sentencing was scheduled for Feb. 9.
Prosecutors say the 47-year-old Diduca persuaded an Arizona man to sexually abuse and photograph the boy, even providing a camera and suggesting how to pose him.
Diduca's lawyer tells The Milford Daily News (http://bit.ly/vwpEg2) that his client accepts responsibility for his actions, but pointed out that he was never accused of abusing children himself.
