Curious about what makes the T tick? Take a tour
Fans of America’s oldest subway can now go behind the scenes. The T is offering free tours of its subway and trolley control center, its commuter rail maintenance facility, and its subway and trolley repair shop. Former general manager Richard A. Davey, now the secretary of transportation, says it is part of a plan to do a better job telling the story of a system that moves more than 1.3 million riders each weekday.
