Juvenile arrested after purse-snatching

A 16-year-old male was arrested Friday night in Cambridge after allegedly stealing a woman’s purse, the latest of a recent string of armed robberies in the residential neighborhood, Cambridge Police said. The teenager and two others allegedly showed a handgun and took a woman’s purse from her arm at the corner of Webster Avenue and Plymouth Street, according to Dan Riviello, a police spokesman. Police were seeking the other two assailants.
