With the help of a new program administered by Mission Hill nonprofit Sociedad Latina, dozens of at-risk Boston teens spend one day a month on a college campus where they learn from young mentors the skills they need to thrive after high school. Through the mentoring and workshops run by student mentors, the program hopes to acclimate college-bound Boston youth to the pressures and challenges of higher education before they fall behind.
