Lesser known leader plays pivotal role

State Representative Joseph Wagner is a lesser known Democrat from Chicopee, but he’s been involved in some major pieces of legislation in recent years, including the casino gambling bill that just passed. He’s proud of what is often viewed as a demerit in modern society: his career as a politician. Meanwhile, a former longtime state senator, Richard Tisei, has decided to make another stab at politics. He’s running as a Republican to challenge 6th Congressional District Representative John Tierney.
