BOSTON—Occupy Boston protesters will return to court this week to make additional arguments on their request for an injunction to bar the city from removing them from their demonstration site.
A Boston judge granted the group's request for a temporary restraining order on Nov. 16.
The group will be back in Suffolk Superior Court on Thursday to ask for an injunction. If granted, it would remain in effect while their lawsuit is pending in court.
The protesters set up their encampment in Boston's financial district on Sept. 30. It mirrors the Occupy Wall Street protest in New York, which spawned similar protests around the country decrying economic inequality and corporate greed.![]()
