A Tyngsborough man is facing armed robbery charges after he allegedly held up a Pelham, N.H., convenience store two weeks ago. The robbery was on the evening of Nov. 15, when police say Timothy Silva, 29, entered the Mammoth Road Convenience store and pointed his weapon at the store clerk and two customers, demanding cash. The clerk gave the thief money from her cash register and he fled. A weeklong investigation that included a review of the store’s security tapes led Pelham police to Silva, who was arrested on Nov. 20. In addition to the current charges, Silva is also being interviewed in connection with another November robbery, this one in Tyngsborough.
