Occupy Boston finally has its sink back - but the 10-foot kitchen appliance won’t be coming back to Dewey Square anytime soon. Five Occupy Boston members went to the District A1/A15 police station this afternoon to collect the sink, which was confiscated Thursday after protesters tried to carry the stainless steel fixture into their encampment. The sink had been purchased by Andrew Claude, 49, an Occupy supporter with expertise in carpentry. After he showed police proof that he owned the sink, the sink was released without incident to Claude and other Occupiers, who waited with a red pickup truck rented from Zipcar to take the sink to storage.
