School bus tardiness remains at about 12%

The Boston Public Schools reported last night that about 12 percent of its school buses were dropping students off late last week. The average on-time performance last week was 88 percent, with another 6 percent of buses arriving within five minutes of the bell, according to data released last night at a regularly scheduled School Committee meeting. On Nov. 22, the Globe reported that 88 percent of the buses had arrived on time in the prior week.
