Hours after an electrical fire tore through a first floor apartment in Fenway, dozens of displaced residents - who scattered to motels and friends’ futons last night - returned to gather belongings yesterday. The smell of charred wood wafted outside as leasers entered the five story apartment building at 25 Peterborough St. in pairs as an employee for the landlord told them they would have to find shelter until tomorrow night or the day after, residents said.
