Clarification: Mass. Conservation Deal story

BOSTON—An Associated Press story on Dec. 30 made several references to the state of Massachusetts acquiring for conservation 3,500 acres of privately owned forest. The land was not purchased from W.D. Cowls Inc. Rather, the state and federal government bought a conservation restriction on it.
