CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—An expert on international business strategy is Harvard President Drew Faust's new senior adviser on global strategy as the university pushes to develop a coherent approach to international engagement.
Harvard Business School professor Krishna Palepu's duties will include developing a more effective strategy for international fundraising. He'll also try to engage the tens of thousands of alumni living abroad.
The Harvard Crimson reports Palepu's appointment comes as other universities begin new international initiatives.
Last March, Yale University and the National University of Singapore announced they will open Singapore's first liberal arts college in August 2013.![]()
