The Super Bowl host city usually conjures images of neon-lit streets overflowing with obscenely expensive cars and statuesque men and women clad in designer clothes and sporting well-coiffed hair. Miami. New Orleans. San Diego. Pasadena. Los Angeles. Tampa. Phoenix. And now: Indianapolis, destination for the Patriots and Giants. The home of Hoosier hospitality and the Indianapolis 500 is only the 15th metro area to host the game but one more landlocked and industrial than most of its predecessors.
