Business loans available

Small businesses in Brockton that need capital to develop can obtain loans from the South Eastern Economic Development Corp., which obtained extra funding last year and now has $5 million available to lend. Loans of up to $200,000 can be used for inventory, purchase of equipment, refinancing, and working capital. SEED also can help provide so-called micro-loans of up to $50,000 through the federal Small Business Administration.
