In freezing temperatures and high winds, dozens of Boston firefighters battled a four-alarm blaze this morning that engulfed a one-story strip of businessed in the 170 block of Chestnut Hill Avenue in Brighton shortly before 6 a.m. Two firefighters were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, and the frigid temperatures and intense smoke complicated firefighters’ response. Deputy Fire Chief Robert Calobrisi said at the scene that the fire started in a pizza shop, though it is unclear what caused it.
