Back Bay fire displaces 25

A two-alarm fire displaced about 25 people and caused about $1 million worth of damage to an apartment building in Boston’s Back Bay yesterday, according to the Boston Fire Department. Broken windows and charred, blackened bricks were visible at 271 Dartmouth St., on the corner of Newbury Street, from the early morning blaze. At approximately 12:30 a.m., the call came in for fire on the fifth floor of the seven-story condo building above the store Madura.
