Brockton High School is being honored by the Associated Industries of Massachusetts for its success in meeting the challenges of urban education. AIM, a nonprofit association of employers, will present the John Gould Education & Workforce Development Award at the association’s annual meeting May 11 in Waltham. Brockton High School, the state’s largest high school, has been cited by US News & World Report as one of the nation’s best high schools. More than 90 percent of its graduates plan to attend college, and one-third qualify for free tuition at the state’s public colleges and universities.
