BARNSTABLE, Mass.—Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O'Keefe has scheduled a news conference Tuesday morning to discuss skeletal remains found in Falmouth last week.
The prosecutor did not release details in his announcement Monday afternoon. The news conference is planned for 10 a.m. at Barnstable police headquarters.
O'Keefe and Falmouth police said Friday afternoon they were investigating after getting a report that possible human bones had been found in a wooded area of Falmouth.
Investigators removed the remains for analysis at the state medical examiner's office.![]()
