Boston College sophomore found dead in dorm room

BOSTON—Boston College says a sophomore from the Chicago suburbs has been found dead in his dorm room.
WCVB-TV reports ( http://bit.ly/KjccR8) that the college sent a letter to students saying Michael Gannon, of Lake Forest, Ill., was found dead Saturday afternoon in Walsh Hall.
Vice President of Student Affairs Patrick Rombalski says that Gannon's cause of death hasn't been determined yet but that foul play isn't suspected.
Counselors are being made available to students.
