3 from BU die in New Zealand crash

Three Boston University students were killed and five others were injured in New Zealand when a van they were traveling in swerved off the road, the university said. The accident occurred outside the vacation town of Taupo, BU said in a statement. The students were enrolled in a study abroad program and were on a weekend trip, according to the university. BU has not released the names of the students because their families have not been notified.
