A meeting to address new rules that prohibit unlicensed parking around Gillette Stadium will be explained at a 6:30 p.m. meeting on Monday at the Ahern Middle School, 111 Mechanic St. Police Chief Edward O'Leary, selectmen, and building inspector William Casbarra will lead the discussion. The bylaw that generated stiff opposition from residents in the North Street area calls for fines of $100 per vehicle, per day for any vehicles that have been charged to park on unlicensed property. Among the items under discussion are how the new program will be enforced for vehicles of residents’ friends and families.
