Ayla Brown kicks off concert series

Former “American Idol” contestant Ayla Brown, daughter of US Senator Scott Brown, will help launch Belmont's annual Payson Park Music Festival with a concert at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. She will also be signing autographs at the Belmont Savings Bank’s main branch on Leonard Street from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The Payson Park Music Festival, in its 23d year, is a series of free outdoor concerts offered each week during the summer; this year, in addition to the Wednesday evening performances, children’s concerts will be offered at noon on Fridays from July 13 to Aug. 3. Brown’s performance is being sponsored by the Belmont Savings Bank.
