Humboldt Storage and Moving, a Canton-based moving company, announced on Monday it will host a truck pull event to benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts. On Sept. 22, on the Boston College campus, several other moving companies, teams of police, fire departments, and first responders will participate in the event to benefit the Special Olympics’ health and sports programs. All teams of 10 people will have to pull a moving van, a fire truck, and a box-style delivery truck as fast as they can for 25 feet; the cumulative total with the lowest combined time will win the event. Registration, at www.humboldttruckpull.com, is limited to 30 teams.
