A Sudbury man was killed after a portion of a dead tree fell on him as he and his wife were leaving the James Taylor concert at Tanglewood on Wednesday. Lenox police said Lester J. Holtzblatt was walking on Richmond Mountain Road, outside of the Tanglewood property, when he was struck by a 20-foot section of a dead tree. Holtzblatt was transported to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
