OXFORD — A man who authorities say fatally shot his 7-year-old daughter and critically wounded his 9-year-old son before killing himself over the weekend had recently come under considerable stress, a family friend said here on Sunday. “He was losing his house, and it was three times in a row he was losing it,” said David Farrar, 73, referring to the alleged gunman, Daryl Benway, 41. "Then when [his wife] left him I think that was the frosting on the cake.”
