City Mayor Thomas M. Menino, who received both accolades and criticism for his stance against Chick-Fil-A’s opposition to gay marriage, was called out by city minority groups for what they believe is his failure to promote diversity in the city. The four-page letter listed a series of complaints, including not building enough affordable housing, and hiring practices at the police department.
