The economic development conference committee released a report Monday that reconciles the House and Senate version of the jobs bill. The bill includes the $2 million talent pipeline that was part of Representative Joseph Wagner’s original proposal. It also includes a sales tax holiday on Aug. 11 and Aug. 12. “Creating jobs has been at the top of our agenda since I became speaker, and I am so proud to say that this bill lays the foundation for economic growth by establishing a friendly environment in the Commonwealth for small businesses, start-ups, future entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and others,” House Speaker Robert A. DeLeo said in a statement sent out just as the bill was filed in the House clerk’s office.
