Mayor Thomas M. Menino underwent successful surgery Wednesday to repair his eyelids, which had drooped over time and had begun to obscure his vision. Dr. Mami A. Iwamoto performed the hourlong outpatient procedure. Menino remained awake but was sedated while Iwamoto made an incision in the mayor’s eyelids
