Massachusetts residents can now get voter registration forms online and mail or bring them to their local election officials. The push for online forms came after Rhode Island adopted the electronic format last year, said a press release from MassVOTE this week. The forms are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Massachusetts residents wanting to vote must be a US citizen and 18 years old on or before the next election or town meeting. Voters must be registered 20 days before all primaries and elections or 10 days before a special town meeting. Residents must submit registration forms by Aug. 17 to vote in the primary election. More information can be found at www.sec.state.ma.us/
