The four young women styled each others’ hair and painted each others’ nails. They remained inseparable even after high school. On Sunday, they traveled together to a cookout at Franklin Park. That night, three of the friends were slain in an unexplained act of violence on Harlem Street in Dorchester. On Tuesday, the parents of the victims recounted the terrible moments in which they learned of their daughters’ deaths. And they shared memories of their promising lives.
