Boston police officer sues colleague, city over alleged rapes

A Boston police officer who accused another officer of raping her and threatening her life in 2009 is now suing him in Superior Court, claiming severe trauma. The officer, a former special operations patrolwoman, is also alleging that the department has unfairly punished her in the wake of her accusations by removing her gun and transferring her from a unit she loves. The male officer was never criminally charged.
