Does the down-to-the-wire US Senate race have you all special electioned out?
Too bad, there's another one amping up. The scramble to succeed Scott Brown in his state Senate seat is already underway, with multiple Republicans and Democrats apparently positioning themselves for the special election to fill the seat ahead of a subsequent, full-term election in November. According to Massachusetts Senate rules, Senate President Therese Murray has 14 days, starting last night, to announce a special election to fill the remaining portion of Brown's term. Brown's district covers Needham, Wrentham, Millis, and parts of Attleboro, Franklin, and Wellesley.
