
The West End, the Boston neighborhood tucked between Beacon Hill, the Charles River, and the North End, finally has its name on a T stop. New signs hung Wednesday renamed the Green Line Science Park stop "Science Park/West End."
The move might seem like a minor transportation change, but it's also a small step for a neighborhood seeking to reclaim its identity after being demolished 50 years ago.
