DSS removed Acia Johnson and her twin brother from their parents' custody on June 15, 1999, after Anna Reisopoulos and Raymond Johnson Sr. stole a minivan and took the children shoplifting at a Marshalls in Braintree. Social workers picked up the twins at the Braintree police station.
