What's in a (T stop) name |

For the better part of the century since Boston's Green Line subway began running, its Dartmouth Street stop has been called Copley Station, after the square where it lets out. And for a good part of that time, it has irritated the people who run Boston Public Library next door. As the MBTA prepares to renovate the station, a campaign has been mounted to rename the station and include the words "Boston Public Library."
Here are other T stops named after places nearby. (Globe Staff Photo / Wendy Maeda)
