New home for homeless animals

  • First
  • Previous
Abigayil Kelman, 16, of Lynn, gave Groucho, named for the coloring below his nose, a new home. The 13,000-square-foot facility has room for more than 100 cats and dogs. Northeast takes in stray cats from across the region north of Boston, while dogs are rescued from places as far away as Indiana and Puerto Rico. The shelter has a 'no-kill' policy, meaning animals stay there until they find a home.
