Boston officials are looking at creating a virtual City Hall inside of the game where residents can create digital images of themselves and live alternate lives, working virtual jobs, attending virtual nightclubs, and chatting with other virtual people. At left is a rendering of the footbridge that connects Cambridge and Allston. The environment was created by Gene Koo, who teaches a course on the internet at Harvard Law School and has been working with city officials to create the new Boston in Second Life.
