He arrived in September 2005 and spent his first couple of weeks at MGH. Left, Nurse Karen McDonough carried him, accompanied by Aomar Nait-Talb, a MGH employee from Morocco who speaks Arabic. Nait-Talb volunteered as a translator and became Rakan's friend.
